Picnic Parking and Shuttle Information:

There is PARKING ON-SITE at the Nicollet Island Pavillion. VLN is also providing round trip trolley transportation between downtown Minneapolis (via Nicollet Mall) and the Pavilion during the event.

To the Picnic: First stop is at 4th and Nicollet Mall at 4:15 p.m. continuing south down Nicollet Mall to stops at 6th, 8th, and 10th streets. The shuttle stops are on the west side of the street. If you miss the shuttle, it will take approximately twenty minutes before the next loop, again starting at 4th and Nicollet.

To Downtown: The trolley will also take guests from Nicollet Island to downtown departing approximately every 20 minutes. The last trolley departs the Pavilion at approximately 7:30 p.m. The shuttle is bright red, looks like a trolley car, will have VLN signs in the window and friendly VLN staff on board for the first few trips.
