Shannon coordinates several of VLN’s legal advice clinics. She began working at VLN in September of 2006 after graduating from University of Minnesota -Twin Cities with a B.A. in Political Science. Shannon grew up on a small dairy farm in rural Wisconsin and moved to Minneapolis in the fall of 2002. She became interested in human rights and social justice issues during college. Throughout her education Shannon worked in the nonprofit community focusing on a variety of issues, including clean and renewable energy development, human rights, and women’s equality. She is excited to continue her work at VLN.
