Perfect Stillness

Three teenage boys and I watch a spider weaves it's web.  “Come on, let's go,” one of the boys says.  They leave.  I continue to watch the spider.  When it is done weaving it's web, it waits, in perfect stillness, for it's prey.  I wait with it.  But I become impatient, so I leave.  The spider does not know impatience.  It continues to wait, perfectly still, knowing it's prey will eventually arrive.
