Bradley C. Thorsen

Brad currently oversees all aspects of fundraising at VLN. A 1974 graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School, Brad has been active in bar association activities for many years. He served on the Hennepin County Bar Foundation Board and was President of the Hennepin County Bar Association. He served on the Minnesota State Bar Foundation, the MSBA Board of Governors, and the MSBA Executive Committee (2001-2003). He was a delegate to the American Bar Association House of Delegates (2000-2006) He is also a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. Brad has been a member of Volunteer Lawyers Network since 1974, having served on its Board of Directors in the 1970s and on its Executive Committee for two years prior to becoming Executive Director in 2003. Brad, with his wife, also coaches Special Olympics gymnastics and the high school mock trial team at Benilde-St. Margarets. Brad lives in Golden Valley with his wife Madge Thorsen, also an attorney. They have two grown daughters, Bethany and Sarah.
