Sharon worked with several large corporate and non-profit firms in Minnesota and abroad before joining VLN as the Director of Administration in 2007. She brings a wealth of expertise and experience to her role at VLN with over 20 years in administration, human resources, corporate training, finance, fund developments, strategic planning and project management. Earning her first degree as an IS programmer, she later went on to study International Business and Marketing concentrating on the Latin American and Caribbean regions. Sharon has always be involved with projects close to her heart and continues to work to reach out and improve the lives of others in the community through her work with the American Indian Family Center Women’s Health Initiatives, US Committee of Refugees and Immigrants, The Will Steger Institute and local school boards, city councils and executive boards. In her off time she enjoys good home cooking, fabulous wine, strong robust coffee, decadent chocolate and story telling with family and friends.
